As I took my first bite of their renowned sweet and sour chicken, I was captivated by the perfect balance of flavors: the tanginess harmonized beautifully with the sweet notes. The crispy texture of the chicken complemented the fresh vegetables, offering a delightful crunch in every bite.
Another highlight was the fragrant fried rice, cooked to perfection, with a colorful mélange of vegetables and juicy pieces of shrimp. Each mouthful transported me straight to a bustling street market in China, where the aroma of freshly cooked meals fills the air.
In conclusion, Restoran Double Seven is not just a restaurant; it’s a culinary experience that brings the rich flavors of Chinese cuisine to your plate. With its friendly service and inviting atmosphere, it invites you to explore and enjoy the tastes of tradition. “ Tee Nyah Kueh! So special name! I was attracted by its special name and its beautiful color. Without knowing what it really was, I got one to try. And then........ Bang.... I am falling in love with it and driving out again to get 2 more packs. It was kueh made simply from rice flour, chilled, and served with Gula Melaka. But it was already all good on its own. Felt like I found a hidden gem. Look for an uncle putting up small stall on its motorcycle just opposite this restaurant, next to the roast pork stall. Operating hour is early morning until 11am. Food 1010, Price RM3.50 Had the coriander porridge and soup dumpling during dinner time. Coriander porridge is something I will order repeatedly. Love the fact that there is abundance of coriander in it, it was hot until my last scoop. Comfort food whenever i wanted a light dinner. Soup dumpling was good too. It is China style dumpling with thicker skin and pork filling, cooked in sour and spicy soup. Food 810, Price About RM10 ”
“ Perfect for quick breakfast after hiking Bukit Sri Bintang! They offer an array of food selection from noodles to rice to Chinese pastries and drinks! I always for their yoo tiao and teh c ping. Their Claypot Yee mee is not bad too! However parking in this area is a little challenging. You either park on the roadside or make a turn to the back of the shoplots to look for one or just walk from the hiking parking area ”
